Exploring the Aquarian Age and Aquarian Sadhana in Kundalini Yoga

At the Buddha Bella Healing Center, we are excited to announce our new offering: Aquarian Sadhana every Tuesday from 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM. Join us for a transformative practice that taps into the unique energies of the Aquarian Age, bringing profound benefits to your mind, body, and spirit.

A Brief History of the Aquarian Age in Kundalini Yoga

The Aquarian Age, as taught in Kundalini Yoga, represents a significant shift in consciousness and awareness. According to Yogi Bhajan, the spiritual leader who brought Kundalini Yoga to the West, the world transitioned from the Piscean Age to the Aquarian Age on November 11, 1991. This new era, fully realized by December 21, 2012, is characterized by a movement away from individualism, hidden knowledge, and hierarchical structures toward unity, transparency, and universal consciousness.

In the Piscean Age, power was held by those who possessed information. The Aquarian Age, in contrast, emphasizes collective consciousness and the accessibility of wisdom for all. This era encourages us to cultivate inner awareness, self-reliance, and an understanding of our interconnectedness. Kundalini Yoga practices are designed to prepare individuals to thrive in this new paradigm by enhancing intuition, resilience, and spiritual depth【3HO】.

Understanding Aquarian Sadhana

Aquarian Sadhana is a special group practice designed to align with the energies of the Aquarian Age. Sadhana, meaning daily spiritual practice, is traditionally done in the early morning hours, known as the ambrosial hours, when the sun is at a 60-degree angle to the Earth. This timing is believed to enhance the effectiveness of meditation and spiritual practices, making it an auspicious period for deep inner work and self-realization.

Here’s what you can expect in Aquarian Sadhana:

  • Japji Reading and Meditation: The practice begins with the recitation of Japji, a sacred Sikh prayer that sets a powerful and uplifting tone for the session. This meditation helps clear the mind and open the heart, preparing participants for the deeper practices to follow.

  • Kriya Set and Integration: Following the Japji, we engage in a specific set of Kundalini Yoga kriyas. These kriyas are dynamic sequences of postures, breathwork, and sound that work to balance the body's energy systems, promoting physical health and emotional stability.

  • Aquarian Mantras Recitation: The session concludes with the chanting of Aquarian mantras. These mantras are designed to elevate consciousness and bring about a sense of unity and harmony. The vocalization of these mantras in a group setting amplifies their impact, leaving participants feeling energized, clear, and connected.

Benefits of Aquarian Sadhana

Participating in Aquarian Sadhana offers numerous benefits, including:

  • Enhanced Intuition and Awareness: Regular practice sharpens your intuition and helps you navigate the complexities of the modern world with greater ease and insight.

  • Emotional Balance and Clarity: The kriyas and meditations work to release emotional blockages, promoting mental clarity and emotional stability.

  • Increased Energy and Vitality: Starting your day with Aquarian Sadhana infuses you with vibrant energy, setting a positive and productive tone for the day ahead.

  • Community Connection: Practicing in a group amplifies the effects of the meditation, creating a strong sense of community and shared purpose.

We invite you to join us every Tuesday from 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM for Aquarian Sadhana at Buddha Bella Healing Center. Embrace the energies of the Aquarian Age and experience the transformative power of group practice. Let’s come together to elevate our consciousness and create a ripple of positivity in the world.
