At Buddha Bella Healing Center, we continue to celebrate the incredible teachers and individuals who make our community bright, loving, and caring. Chris Altrichter recently completed our 200-hour yoga teacher training and graduated with us at the beginning of this year. We are grateful to have had him be a part of our YTT program and now join us as a teacher. We are thankful to know the amazing man that he is and honored to have him as part of our growing lineage of teachers. Get to know Chris more:

A: Chris Altrichter
Q: How long have you been practicing yoga?
A: 15 years
Q: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: Chilaquiles
Q: What is your favorite yoga pose and why?
A: Camel—because I can feel my heart shine like a Care Bear Stare.
Q: What style(s) of yoga do you specialize in?
A: Vinyasa flow
Q: What is a fun fact about you that most people don't know?
A: I've had in-depth conversations with other species of the plant and animal kingdoms.
Q: What is your favorite part about teaching yoga?
A: Sharing the collective energy with the room.
Q: What is your advice for someone new to yoga?
A: Have fun, it's just yoga.
Q: If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
A: My son, Jackson, to be carefree and attack the day with reckless abandon.

A: Mountain—I'm an earth sign and not small.
